A book of extended abstracts will be published and handed out at the start of the conference. Extended abstracts(maximum 4-pages) must be submitted before 15th March 2008 to ensure inclusion in the proceedings. Instructions are provided at http://radioecology.info/Bergen2008/InstructionAuthors.pdf
All accepted communications, oral and poster, will have the potential to be published as Proceedings in the “Radioprotection” Journal (Colloquium Series) after standard peer review managed by the Scientific Committee, to allow for proper subsequent referencing and citation. Manuscripts for the Proceedings (maximum 6 pages) will have to be submitted during the Conference according to Instruction to authors given at: www.risques-chroniques.com/Radioecology2008/Publications.aspx
A selection of papers (approx 20) will be made from the submitted extended abstracts and concerned authors will then be invited to submit full papers for peer review and publication in a Special Issue of the Journal of Environmental Radioactivity. Authors will be informed in plenty of time before the start of the conference. The full papers will have to be submitted not later than 1 October 2008 and normal JER procedures will be followed.
